Let's make your day stress-free and uniquely yours!
This post is long overdue, but we’re so glad you’ll finally get to see this gorgeous day! Rana and Peter’s Wichita fall wedding reception was absolutely breathtaking. From her romantic gown to the giant boho-inspired floral arrangements and a rich fall color palette, everything about this wedding was dreamy and planned with intention. They tied the knot at a courthouse earlier in the year. So this day was all about celebrating and honoring their Palestinian and Moroccan heritage! Before we show you all the beautiful details, make sure you check out their fabulous vendor team who brought it all together!

Rana and her bridesmaids started the day at The Ambassador. Here they were pampered by Chantha Beauty Bar and Karly Huysman. While they got ready, Peyton Rainey Photography captured their personal details!
We’re still not over these modern and elegant invites with a splash of fall color, which Peter and Rana accented with rust-colored custom wax seals. And Rana’s engagement ring is absolutely to die for! We love the two diamonds with contrasting cuts and how timeless but unique the design is.
Corporate Caterers delivered lunch to their hotel room as they got ready, and they were able to enjoy an unrushed morning! In the mid-afternoon, Rana got dressed with her mom and sister. Her gown is STUNNING! Featuring off-the-shoulder sleeves, a sweetheart neckline, and beautiful floral lace that trailed down the bodice into the tulle skirt. She paired it with a crystal headpiece and looked like a queen!
Free State Flora crafted a gorgeous bouquet to complete Rana’s bridal look with pale roses, white orchids, and bleached ruscus.
Once she was dressed, her bridesmaids saw her as a bride for the first time and had the sweetest reaction!
Next, it was Peter’s turn, and he was in awe of Rana. We can’t blame him!
All of Rana and Peter’s portraits throughout the day feel so romantic and timeless. Their look as a couple was classic and regal!
After their first look, everyone headed to The Hudson for photos. We loved Peter’s classic black tux, complete with a bow tie and boutonniere!
This might be our favorite example of mix-and-match bridesmaid dresses ever! This was the perfect fall color palette with burgundy, gold, oranges, and subtle pink, and each of the girls got to choose their own dress-style fabric. They looked stunning together!
The groomsmen all wore the same classic black tux as Peter but with white bowties instead of black. We love how sticking to a classic style gives the guys the guarantee that they’ll look and feel good (without having to overthink it) while still allowing the groom to stand out with a slight variation!
Since they had already had their wedding ceremony earlier that year, Rana and Peter had plenty of time to take all their photos before the reception began, including all their family formals!
They took a few more photos together before preparing to enter the reception! Meanwhile, we were putting the finishing touches on their decor before guests arrived.
This large floral arrangement by Free State Flora greeted guests with a statement as soon as they entered the atrium of The Hudson. Rana used one of their courthouse wedding photos as the backdrop for their welcome sign.
While guests arrived for cocktail hour, they found their escort cards to take to their seats with them and enjoyed an open bar.
Inside The Hudson’s Gatsby Hall, huge arrangements of tropical leaves and pampas grass stood at the ends of guest tables and drew the eye upward. Le Luci installed starry night lighting and Morrocan-inspired pendants on the ceiling, and each guest had a menu and favor waiting for them at their seat.
Rana and Peter’s sweetheart table was framed by a circular arch that Free State Flora completely decked out with pampas, greenery, and roses!
When it was time to kick off the evening, the Mawtini Dabkeh Troupe led Rana and Peter into the reception with lively music!
Once everyone was inside, the troupe led a dabke dance for all the guests!
Next up, it was time for a plated dinner served by Corporate Caterers. One of Rana’s bridesmaids sang for guests as they were being served. And then they were able to enjoy their dinner while friends and family toasted the bride and groom.
While guests finished dinner and refilled their drinks, Rana and Peter headed out for some GORGEOUS sunset photos!
One of our favorite things about The Hudson is that there are so many beautiful places to take photos within walking distance. We love the urban industrial setting paired with Rana and Peter’s elegance!
Once they were back inside, Rana and Peter cut their cake. Simply Sunday Cakes created this 3 tiered beauty with rough-edged tiers and a trail of gold flakes that perfectly fit the vibe of the wedding!
After their cake cutting and a champagne toast, Rana and Peter shared their first dance to Unconditional by Freya Ridings.
Afterward, it was Peter’s mom’s turn to share a spotlight dance with her son, then Rana’s brothers joined her on the dance floor!
For the rest of the evening, Rana, Peter, and all their guests danced the night away!
DJ Shadi always keeps guests on their feet. It’s almost harder to stay seated than it is to join the crowd at his weddings!
To wrap up their beautiful day, Rana and Peter enjoyed a private last dance as the clock struck midnight. Their reception was absolutely beautiful and such a dream!
Rana and Peter, we’re so honored that you allowed us to coordinate this day. Thank you for trusting us with it and allowing us to celebrate with you. We’re so thrilled for you both as your family grows, and we wish you a long and happy marriage!
XOXO,
The Radiantly Curated Team
