Alright, now onto the wedding!
Casey and John had 85 guests at their wedding and kept their wedding party intimate too, with most of the members being their siblings!
One of our favorite details about Casey’s day is her dress… It was her grandma’s when she got married nearly 70 years ago, and Vanya Designs was able to redesign it to be Casey’s dream dress. There’s nothing more special than being able to wear an heirloom gown!
After Casey did a first look with her family, she and John shared a first look. They had been dating for a long time, and this moment of finally being together on their wedding day was so special and long-expected.
They shared private vows, and the photos are so sweet that we wish we knew what they were saying to each other!
While they were sharing those special moments, our team was setting up inside the Wichita Brewing Company Event Venue. Endless Treasures provided lots of beautiful decor that wove Casey and John’s personalities into the space!
After their vows and some portraits near the venue, Casey and John took photos with their immediate families before heading out for photos with their wedding party. We love the idea of getting these photos at the start of the day before all the busyness begins, especially since you’ll want to treasure them forever!
Endless Treasures arranged these gorgeous suitcases and trunks into a wall to frame Casey and John. We placed floating candles and votives on them and put their unity candle set on top of Endless Treasures’s vintage black cart. The aisle was lined with jasmine garlands and clusters of mirrored terrariums for an elegant but moody look.
We used farm tables, a black loveseat, and a copper wall from Endless Treasures for the head table. The wine bottle in the photo above was also a sentimental piece from Casey’s grandma! There are so many ways to weave in heirlooms and unique details from your loved ones into your wedding day.
The guest tables all had loose pieces of jasmine greenery and wine bottles holding taper candles. It was effortless and romantic!
One of our favorite details was their black grid cupcake wall, complete with the most delicious cupcakes from Sterling & Quinn and a “‘Til Death” neon sign from Endless Treasures.
Casey and John’s wedding party is proof that you don’t need a huge group to have a lot of fun! And how beautiful are those bouquets by Timeless Fixations?
John looked amazing in his all-black suit. It was such a modern and classy look!
Casey was absolutely stunning! We love the celestial-inspired hairpiece she wore with her gown.
The fall leaves were at the perfect stage for their wedding day. The colors in their portraits are gorgeous!
Shelby Laine Photography is amazing at capturing couples in the moment. Every time we get to work with her, we’re blown away by how beautifully her portraits turn out. Choosing a photographer you feel comfortable with pays off big time too.
Next, it was back to the venue for the ceremony. Casey walked down the aisle to “Once Upon a Dream” by Lana Del Rey, and it was absolutely perfect for the moment.
Casey’s uncle officiated for them. We love it when family members or close friends officiate when a couple doesn’t have a pastor! It’s such a special experience for their loved ones.
The trunk wall looked beautiful in action.
We’ll never forget how Casey cried as they walked back down the aisle together from pure joy!
While guests found their seats for dinner, Casey and John headed out for some quick family photos and portraits during golden hour.
After a wonderful dinner of artisan pizza and craft beer, Casey and John came onto the dance floor for their first dance and parent dances.
Casey’s family has a tradition of dancing the can can, and she and her mom got the party started by grabbing other guests from their tables to join in!
Their guests kept the dance floor packed for the rest of the night! We had never seen a wedding reception with entirely rock music, but Another Dimension stayed right on the pulse of the room and kept the party going strong!
The night wouldn’t be complete without a sparkler exit. Casey and John had such a great time at their wedding, and it made us so happy to see all their joy.
We’re so happy for these two and wish a lifetime of love and happiness for them!
XOXO,
The Radiantly Curated Team
