If there ever was an event that defined laid-back boho elegance, Brittany and Ryan’s boho Kansas wedding is it. We’re obsessed with their neutral and rust color palette—including the groom’s amazing orange suit—and can’t get enough of Brittany’s gown. The floral arrangements set in pumpkins in their reception helped to tie in Brittany’s intense love of Halloween, while details like their shot wall managed to feel both extra fun and elegant all at once. Our only question? Where’s our invitation to the vow renewal?!

Brittany spent the morning getting ready with her best friends! When the time came, they stepped out so she could put her dress on alone with her mom, then they came back for a first look with her!
Everyone’s reactions were so sweet, and Brittany looked absolutely stunning. We loved the detachable sleeves on her gown and her custom floral hairpiece… she truly looked like a boho queen!
Meanwhile, the guys were clearly having tons of fun! Ryan’s rust-colored suit looked fantastic, and these photos are proof that the mix-matched look isn’t just for bridesmaids.
Doing first looks with your loved ones is a great way to build intentional and meaningful time into your wedding day. After doing a first look with her bridesmaids, Brittany did one with her son! If you want to make sure you get quality 1-on-1 time with anyone on your wedding day, consider doing a first look with them.
Next, it was time for Brittany’s dad to see her as a bride for the first time! Definitely a core memory.
Meanwhile, our team was setting up! We love working at The Highlands because of how flexible the space is. Because they had a smaller guest count, we closed off one side of the venue and placed their head table at the end of one of the venue’s wings instead of the usual spot in the center section of the building.
This copper wall is one of our favorite pieces from Endless Treasures. It’s so fun to customize it with a neon sign or one of their light fixtures! Brittany and Ryan used a farm table for their sweetheart table and topped it off with brass candlesticks and gorgeous floral arrangements from Arriate Floral Co.
Their arbor was perfect with organically-draped fabric and a floral arrangement. The florals and the fabric complemented Brittany’s look wonderfully!
Some of our other favorite details were their Jello shot wall and guest phone book. These elements elevated their guests’ experience!
Brittany gifted her parents with these sentimental custom handkerchiefs for the ceremony. We love it when couples do something to honor their parents on their wedding day!
Soon the ceremony was underway, and the wedding party was processed into live music played by a string quartet.
The joy on Ryan’s face, when he saw Brittany coming down the aisle, says it all!
Brittany’s dad and son both walked her down the aisle. This was such a meaningful moment!
Shelby Laine Photography captured the emotions of the ceremony in such a raw and beautiful way. These photos feel so dreamy!
The feeling you get at the end of the ceremony is so surreal. You’re finally married to your best friend, the most stressful part of the day is over, and you get to relax and look forward to the reception!
That kiss at the end of the aisle is one of our favorite photo moments. Dipping your bride is a skill, and Ryan mastered it!
After the ceremony, Brittany and Ryan took photos with their families on the land behind The Highlands.
Brittany’s bridal look deserves some more attention! From her hair, accessories, makeup, nails, and bouquet, each detail was stunning.
Her dress had gorgeous movement in the skirt, and the low back paired perfectly with her tattoos!
Ryan’s suit is our favorite one of 2022. Grooms deserve a luxury experience before the wedding too, and getting a custom suit is a great way to incorporate that into the planning process!
We’ll always love the mixed bridesmaid dress look. All the colors, textures, and styles play so well off each other here! Going this route gives your best gals the chance to feel their best on your big day.
Big bridal parties aren’t for the faint of heart, but they’re so much fun! All of these bridesmaids and groomsmen killed their wedding party photos.
Everyone was so excited to celebrate Brittany and Ryan!
Brittany and Ryan didn’t pass up the opportunity to take photos with each others’ besties, and the results are fantastic!
Their portraits are gorgeous! I can’t imagine having to be in their position and having to pick favorites to hang on their wall. They’re all great!
After joining their guests for dinner and toasts, they kicked off the dance floor with the first dances! Ryan danced with his mom, and Britany danced with her dad and son.
Next, their first dance together as a couple led into opening the dance floor with all their guests!
Their live band, The Source, kept the party going all night! Live bands bring high energy to receptions and create a unique experience for guests that they’ll never forget.
These moments between Ryan and his daughter are so sweet. Sometimes we hear couples wonder if having kids at their wedding will make it hard to party, but we think that kids add a lot of energy to the dance floor and keep everyone else out of their seats during the night!
This Kansas wedding day was filled with so much joy, love, and slow, meaningful moments. It’s proof that bold details don’t have to be scary, and putting moments and people first while you plan your day always pays off. Brittany and Ryan, we’re so happy for you and can’t wait to see where the future takes you and your family!
XOXO,
The Radiantly Curated Team
