Kendra and Cody were so much fun to work with! They went all in when it came to creating personal touches that made their wedding day completely their own, and the day was magical.
Their wedding features a bold and romantic color palette, beautiful rentals, draping, and lighting, and the best way to end a wedding we’ve ever seen!

Let’s begin with some details appreciation, shall we?
Kendra and her gals began the morning at Chantha Beauty Bar in Clifton Square! They wore matching PJs while Chantha’s and Grace G MUA worked their magic.
Once hair and makeup was done, the ladies headed to the venue to get dressed. Once Kendra had her dress on, she did a reveal with her bridesmaids!
Cody got ready at home before heading to the venue. They waited to see each other until their ceremony, so they read letters they had written to each other instead of a first look!

They held their ceremony in the same room as the reception. Instead of doing a room flip, we made the decision a couple of weeks before the wedding to do Oscar-style seating where guests sit at their reception tables for the ceremony. This is more common than you may think, and we love how it allows for a shorter cocktail hour so guests can enjoy dinner and the reception sooner!
After the ceremony, Kendra and Cody headed to the Chinese garden at the venue for family photos, bridal party photos, and couple portraits!
And the ladies whipped out some of our FAVORITE props for photos! How much do you love these heart-shaped sunnies?
We absolutely love Kendra and Cody’s couple portraits. They’re so dreamy! We love that they rented a lounge setup from Endless Treasures to have in the garden for guests during cocktail hour, and they also got to use it for some photos.
While they were taking photos, our team was hard at work setting the head table and putting the final touches on the reception. The couple had a craft pizza and appetizer bar provided by Marchello’s, and our crew also set up the buffet!
After photos, Kendra and Cody made a grand entrance into the reception and kicked off dinner! Once they had had a chance to eat, they cut their cake, and our team cut and plated it while they snuck out for a few quick sunset photos. Le Luci hung lights from the tree in the garden outside for this moment, and it turned out so beautifully!
They came back into the reception as guests were finishing up dinner and played the shoe game before toasts and dances!
And then it was party time!
Kendra and Cody had an earlier end to their wedding reception, so at 9 PM they exited the venue to a shower of rose petals from their guests and made their exit in a horse-drawn carriage.
What happened next is still a favorite wedding moment of ours… They ended their night with a trip to Milkfloat for dessert! We don’t think there’s a better end to any day.
We’re so dang happy for these two! We hope they inspire you to bring your own personal touch to your wedding day. Why not hang lights in the tree? Why not go to your favorite dessert or coffee shop during your big day? Celebrate the way you want to!
XOXO,
The Radiantly Curated Weddings Team
